Company Overview

Kuorum is a tech startup that provides solutions for secure and legal online voting. Born in Madrid in 2013, the company has worked for governments and corporations in seven countries. In 2016, Kuorum was recognized as Best Govtech of the Year by the Washington Academy of Political Arts and Sciences. And in 2020 the Global Compact of the United Nations awarded its contribution to SDGs.


This is a part-time intern position (mornings) for candidates interested in growing initiatives and developing new business. The selected candidate will play a key role in the setup of the new division in the UK. He/she will set up our sales operations working remotely from the UK and reporting directly to the CEO of the company, based in Madrid and Barcelona. The company will set KPIs for lead generation and sales closings during the next six months. After a strong internship there is the opportunity of a full position as UK Business Development Manager after university if you wish to carry on.


Experience with sales and customer support is a strong advantage. High level of Excel and Word. Native English. Other languages appreciated: German, French or Spanish.

Salary & Holiday

Variable compensation depending on sales and candidate’s experience and will be discussed further at interview.

Training & Benefits for the student

Key focusses and work that the candidate will get exposure to:

– Market analysis: Study local competitors, analyse current pricing strategy, identify niches and agree on objectives together with the company.
– Lead generation: Find email and phone number of potential leads.
– Cold calling: Start sales cycle and monitor leads periodically using CRM (sales training will be provided by the company).
– Demos: Provide product presentations through videoconference (the CEO will give support for this activity if needed).
– SEM: Support online marketing activities by identifying keywords for Google Ads campaigns and generating content for the website.
– Inbound leads: Attend customer requests for information.
– Customer support: Helpdesk support to customers during online voting events.
