Get A Stand is a nimble and fast-growing startup based in Milan.
Getastand is the platform dedicated to fairs and events that simplifies the entire sales process of the exhibition spaces.
Through the Marketplace, the organizers can promote their events and exhibitors can book the exhibition spaces online quickly and safely, saving the cost of managing the participation and being able to reserve space in a few minutes instead of two weeks.
Getastand allows organizers to sell unsold exhibition spaces by getting secure payments and companies to focus on products and exposure to present at events.
Our team of 5 are now trying to give SMEs a real online presence and help our day-to-day shops get the presence they need to survive in the digital economy.
We now aim to revolutionise the world of events and fairs as we know them and digitalise the whole process.
Opportunity
We’re looking for a web development intern to help us develop from an MVP to a fully-fledged products. We are currently raising investment so we are in a growth phase so there will be the opportunity to experience all types of development both from a technical perspective as well as strategic. Our main languages are PHP but we are open to new ways of working.
As an intern you will get the chance to experience the startup process from end to end, especially as we’re currently in the process of fundraising. GetAStand differs from other opportunities because we are cross-industry meaning you get exposure to lots of different industries from healthcare all the way through to sport! You will be part of our weekly briefings with regular check-ins with the founders to ensure that you’re getting the exposure and the projects you want to work on.
Salary & Holiday
Given that we are currently a bootstrapped startup and in the phase of fundraising we are offering €200/month salary. Holidays will be dependent on the length of time of the internship and this will be discussed at interview.
