The Finance Controller / Analyst (Junior) will work closely with the CFOs and Partners and will join the team in charge of a client portfolio under their responsibility. Strong possibility to grow with the organization.
This is an on-site role, based in Barcelona.
📍 Please note that because of the nature of this position, we only consider applicants who are already based in Barcelona or plan to relocate.

Founded in 2021, Iter Advisors is growing quickly and looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to help us during this critical phase. Responsibilities
The Finance Controller / Analyst (Junior) will be responsible for all finance & reporting needs of our clients. That includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing strong analytical and forward-looking leadership to deliver business-driving insights through Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Financial statement forecasting including headcount
- Timely cash forecasts
- Leading annual and quarterly budgeting processes
- Developing and maintaining KPI dashboards
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial metrics
- Managing the financial results of the business P&L: identifying risks and opportunities, recommending corrective actions
- Providing insightful analysis of monthly results to the client’s management team
- Supervising the day-to-day accounting with internal or external providers
- Ensuring continuous improvement of reporting tools and dashboards
- Managing Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Cash Management: cashflow monitoring, forecasting, FX management
- Maintaining strong relationships with external accountants, banks, and tax advisors
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish & English;
- 1–3+ years of experience in finance roles: Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, Reporting, Budgeting, Cash Control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with CFOs, founders, and finance teams
- Detail-oriented and proactive, able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
- Autonomy, initiative, and eagerness to implement new ideas or tools
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and multicultural environment
- Ability to clearly explain financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Interest in technology and system-driven tools is a plus
- Bonus: experience in the startup ecosystem or tech/digital sectors in Spain
