Role Overview

As a Business Development Intern you will support strategic growth efforts through lead organisation, outreach, and opportunity identification. This role involves both analytical research and personalised communications, offering valuable insight into the business side of architectural practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systematise existing business leads and maintain organised records in the studio’s CRM.

  • Register the studio as a supplier with major procurement and tendering platforms.

  • Conduct detailed market research on real estate developers, municipalities, architecture institutions, and potential collaborators such as local architects and urbanists.

  • Identify upcoming architectural competitions and development opportunities aligned with the studio’s focus.

  • Create individualised outreach emails, positioning the studio as a compelling and natural collaborator based on strategic screening of each target organisation’s unique profile and goals.

Candidate Profile

  • You’re curious about how business connects with architecture, urbanism, and the built/ real estate world.

  • You have a creative mindset and enjoy digging into research, spotting patterns, and making sense of complex info.

  • You communicate clearly, confidently, and aren’t afraid to reach out.

  • You’re proactive, well-organised and comfortable working on your own in a fast-moving, ideas-focused environment.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, outreach tools, or procurement platforms is a plus but a curiosity and a willingness to learn is important

Internship Details

  • Duration: 6 months

  • Location: Barcelona

  • Compensation: 500 EUR or higher, depending on the candidate’s prior experience
